Spend your night under the stars at the River House Campground!

The River House Campground is for tent campers. We have 14 groomed camp sites, each with parking. The Campground, which has fire rings and picnic tables, lies between the two bridges in Rowlesburg and is adjacent to the River House Lodge. You have a great location right beside the river allowing you to kayak, float, swim, or fish all day!

Our location is about 30 miles south of Morgantown, WV on Cheat River, near US Rt. 50 and on WV Rt. 72 (both Designated National Highways). Our address is 25 N Diamond Street, Rowlesburg, West Virginia. 26425.

Pricing:

The campsites cost $20 per day and that includes full use of the Bathhouse & Lounge. You can buy firewood, fire-starters, drinks, or rent gas grills and extra inflatable beds. We have extra lights for those who may forget to bring one.

We allow popup campers, vans and tow-behinds, but we won't be providing hookups. There is campground lighting provided by solar power, so no problem if you're coming in late. And, yes, we are renting out the little red caboose! It has a king-size bed, chairs, table and lamp. One guest said, “it's as cute as Christmas!” Price: $25 a night. Max. three people.

The Campground includes a “Bathhouse & Lounge” for use by campers. The Lounge has a full kitchen, dining area, is air conditioned, and has TV and Wi-Fi plus three showers and bathrooms for women and three for men.
